Leinster's hopes of a BKT United Rugby Championship success at Croke Park this afternoon have been hit by the forced withdrawal of Jamison Gibson-Park.
The Ireland international had been named in the half-backs when Leo Cullen revealed his side on Thursday for the clash with the Bulls.
Luke McGrath will now move into a starting berth and academy scrum-half Fintan Gunne will take a spot among the replacements.
Gunne, 23, came off the bench in March's URC clash with the Bulls, replacing Jamie Osborne in the 21-20 loss in Pretoria.
Josh van der Flier and Garry Ringrose have overcome injuries to take their place in the starting team though as Leinster aim for a first URC success since the addition of the big four South African franchises in 2021.
"Unfortunately Jamison Gibson-Park has been ruled out this morning," Leinster Rugby said.
"Best of luck to Luke McGrath who starts and Academy scrum-half Fintan Gunne named on the bench."
Leinster: Jimmy O'Brien; Tommy O'Brien, Garry Ringrose, Jordie Barrett, James Lowe; Sam Prendergast, Luke McGrath; Andrew Porter, Dan Sheehan, Thomas Clarkson; Joe McCarthy, James Ryan; Ryan Baird, Josh van der Flier, Jack Conan (capt).
Replacements: Rónan Kelleher, Jack Boyle, Rabah Slimani, RG Snyman, Max Deegan, Fintan Gunne, Ross Byrne, Jamie Osborne.
