This also marks the first time that she's acknowledged the rumored feud between herself and Nicki.

Cardi B is seemingly breaking her silence on her longstanding beef with fellow rap diva Nicki Minaj. As Alex Cooper's guest on the most recent episode of Call Her Daddy, Cardi dished on everything from her BBL and butt piercings to her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs. The "Outside" rapper even got candid about the industry plant allegations she's been facing ever since her career took off with "Bodak Yellow" in 2017.

"People have made this whole story that I came in the industry to, like, take over somebody's career," Cardi said, without naming names. "I never thought that. I just wanted to become famous at what I like to do... Sometimes, people just don't get along with each other."

She continued, "This is what I was destined for. I was meant to become this, no matter who signed me, no matter what. I was going to be famous and I was going to be a rapper," adding that she's "done" with feeding into the alleged feud.

ICYMI, Kanye West alleged that Cardi was an industry plant "placed by the Illuminati" to "replace" Nicki Minaj in 2023. Per XXL, Kanye talked about the AM I THE DRAMA? artist in leaked documentary footage from 2018, claiming she doesn't "write her own raps."

After referencing her feature on G-Eazy's "No Limit" remix, he added, "She literally replaced Nicki Minaj. Purposely, they put her there. And now, she doesn't know what to do."

There are layers to the accusation, as Nicki and Cardi have had a longstanding beef since the "Bodega Baddie" rapper broke into the scene. While they collaborated on Migos' "Motorsport" in 2017 and appeared friendly with Moschino's Jeremy Scott at the 2018 Met Gala, the musicians reportedly got into a physical altercation during a New York Fashion Week party hosted by Harper's Bazaar in September 2018.

Elsewhere in the Call Her Daddy episode, Cardi revealed that there was one motivator that kept her going in the early days of her bustling music career: money.

"Just the fact that the bill have to be paid," she said at the 18-minute mark of the episode. "It doesn't matter...if things not going well. The rent got to be paid."
