The BMW XM lineup is now streamlined to feature just two models, with the BMW XM Label as the standout. This model is the sole option equipped with a V8 plug-in hybrid engine, making it the most potent BMW M vehicle. The BMW XM 50e, which includes an electrified six-cylinder engine, remains unchanged in its offering.
The BMW XM Label boasts impressive power and a sophisticated drive system. Its M HYBRID setup includes a V8 engine delivering 430 kW/585 hp and an electric motor producing up to 145 kW/197 hp. Together, they generate a total output of 550 kW/748 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful production model from BMW M.
This powerhouse accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h, which can be increased to 290 km/h with the optional M Driver's Package. The design of the BMW XM Label is both extravagant and exclusive, setting new standards in luxury vehicles.
The BMW XM Label introduces several new equipment options for customisation. A standout feature is the optional BMW Individual Frozen Tanzanite Blue metallic exterior colour. Additionally, a high-gloss Black accent line can be added to the BMW M kidney grille for enhanced visual appeal.
Standard equipment now includes 22-inch light alloy wheels in Double-spoke style 922 M Bicolour with mixed-size tyres, replacing the previous 21-inch wheels. An option for even larger wheels comes in the form of 23-inch M light alloy wheels style 1096 M in Black.
Interior Enhancements
The interior of the BMW XM Label offers new colour combinations for a luxurious feel. Options include BMW Individual Night Blue Merino Leather with exclusive elements and Vintage Coffee Brown interior surfaces. High-quality comfort cushions matching seat colours are now standard across all leather merino upholstery.
For those seeking more variety, there are additional choices like BMW Individual Black Merino leather with exclusive elements or Silverstone Merino leather paired with Black interior surfaces.
Charging Improvements
The charging capabilities of the BMW XM Label have been upgraded as well. The Combined Charging Unit now supports AC charging at up to 11 kW, enhancing convenience for users.
This updated model will make its debut on June 14, 2025, at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans event. During this event, BMW M Motorsport will compete using the BMW M Hybrid V8 in the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC).
