McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing have teamed up for Project: Endurance, offering a rare chance to own a genuine Le Mans Hypercar. This initiative allows participants to be part of McLaren's racing legacy, which includes victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Indy 500, and over 190 Grand Prix wins. The project aims to deliver an exclusive ownership experience alongside McLaren's 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship campaign.

Project: Endurance will develop a limited number of customer cars alongside the McLaren LMDh Hypercar. These vehicles will compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2027. Customers will gain unique insights into McLaren's efforts to achieve the Triple Crown of motorsport within a single season.

Participants in Project: Endurance will enjoy unprecedented access to McLaren's test and development activities as they prepare for their WEC Hypercar debut. Owners will also be part of a two-year track car programme, offering experiences at top-tier race circuits worldwide.

The collaboration between McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing is designed to provide an exhilarating driving experience with the Le Mans Hypercar. This opportunity is available only to a select few through the Project: Endurance customer partnership programme.

Nick Collins, CEO of McLaren Group Holdings, expressed excitement about this collaboration, stating that customers will have immersive access to the development and racing programme supporting their 2027 championship contender. The Project: Endurance car will feature a race-built V6 twin-turbo hybrid powertrain driving the rear wheels. It is developed in partnership with Dallara, known for its expertise in race car construction and as an exclusive partner to the NTT INDYCAR Series.

Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, highlighted the significance of their return to the FIA World Endurance Championship.
