All eyes will once again be on Le Mans, France as it is set to host one of the most iconic races in motorsports history, the 24 hours of Le Mans, at the Circuit de la Sarthe beginning Saturday, June 14.

Tracing its history all the way back to 1923 more than a century ago, the 24 hours of Le Mans has delivered many special moments in racing history which has also made it one of the most beloved races in the world standing with the likes of other iconic races such as the Monaco Grand Prix and the Indy 500, forming the triple crown of Motorsport.

Last year, Ferrari emerged as the winner in the hypercar category, while United Autosports and Manthey EMA won the LMP2 and LMGT3 categories respectively.

This year the field is once again stacked with top sides such as Toyota, BMW, Porsche, BMW, Alpine, Peugeot, Cadillac, and Aston Martin in the mix. Fans will additionally be excited to see Mercedes return to the LMGT3 circuit after nearly 20 years.

This year's edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be broadcast on MotorTrend TV in the US. Fans without cable can catch all 24 hours of the action live on Max and DIRECTV.

Spectators in Canada can catch all the action on CTV Speed, with streaming options available via the online Crave platform.

A total of 186 drivers in 62 cars will contest this year's edition of Le Mans.

On the track, there will be 21 cars competing in the Hypercars category, 24 in the LMGT3 category and 17 in the LMP2 category.

Each car has three drivers, with each driver required to race for at least 6 hours, but no more than 14 hours. As many as eight manufacturers will battle it out in the Hypercar class, including Aston Martin, with this week's race marking the Valkyrie's debut in Le Mans.
