The program wil explore critical sector topics, including: the convergence of air, land, and sea for integrated urban mobility; the real-world deployment and scale-up of smart mobility models across public transport; global standards in AI governance and public trust of autonomous technologies; cross-sector collaboration to advance autonomy through industry integration; the future of flying in cities; AI-driven decision making; and designing industrial applications and deployment at scale for smart ports and cities.

Attendees of the summit will also explore the future of scaling innovation, investment, and impact, outlining pathways for investment and commercialization in technology, sustainability, and the talent required to realize these goals.

Running from November 10 to 15 , ADAW will feature a series of autonomous events throughout the week. DRIFTx (November 10-12) will showcase smart and autonomous mobility solutions across land, sea, air, and robotics in a live, interactive exhibition. RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2025, hosted by Khalifa University and held for the first time in the MENA region, will take place from November 10 to 15, bringing together leading international teams to compete in AI-driven autonomous robotics challenges.

ADAW will conclude on November 15 with the second edition of the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL), a motorsport showcase highlighting the cutting edge of autonomous racing technology. Organized by ASPIRE and Abu Dhabi's Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), the event will feature a prize pool of $2.25 million, attracting elite research teams from 10 countries.

The hosting of the inaugural Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week underscores Abu Dhabi's dedication to nurturing a competitive, collaborative, and innovation-driven ecosystem that enhances efficiency, connectivity, and quality of life through the safe, sustainable deployment of autonomous technologies.

Last week, Abu Dhabi's Integrated Transport Center (Abu Dhabi Mobility), in collaboration with LODD Autonomous, oversaw a drone delivery test flight on Friday. During the trial, a drone equipped with a robotic arm transported a parcel from Al Samha to KIZAD, relying on an advanced navigation system that ensured high levels of accuracy and efficiency in delivery operations.

In July 2025, the Integrated Transport Center (Abu Dhabi Mobility ) announced the expansion of autonomous taxi services to include Al Reem and Al Maryah Islands, in collaboration with WeRide, a global leader in autonomous driving technology, as well as Uber and Tawasul Transport, as the local operator of the project.

In February 2025, the Advanced Mobility Hub and LIFT Aircraft Middle East conducted a successful live demonstration of the HEXA light sport passenger electric aircraft in Abu Dhabi, showcasing the aircraft's latest technology, advanced safety features and eco-friendly propulsion system.

With its three-axis joystick, three-axis autopilot system and all-electric propulsion mechanism, HEXA is designed to revolutionize personal air mobility through safe, easy-to-use and emission-free flight.
