It's the most wonderful time of the year for college football video game fans as EA Sports College Football 26 release week has arrived.

This is the second installment of the popular video game franchise, which will be available to play after its triumphant return last year.

The new EA Sports College Football 26 video game will be released on July 10, but if you pre-ordered it, you have had early access since Monday.

Somebody wasted no time gearing up one of the fiercest college rivalries in history: The Miami Hurricanes vs. The Florida Gators.

While up 17-14 in the 3rd quarter, the Gators had just made a defensive play and wanted to celebrate like all other defenses do.

Gators players in EA Sports College Football 26 started doing their signature Gator Chomp with their hands.

At that point, one player from the Hurricanes decided to do it with them.

"He hit the transfer portal mid game 💀," a caption said on X.

"🤣🤣 This gave me flashbacks to last year. Ready for that redemption," one fan said.

"EA Sports never seems to amaze me y'all keep giving money to these mfs lmao," one fourth person wrote.
