HANNIBAL (WGEM) - Work continues at Hannibal High School's Porter Stadium.

Cranes helped install the football stadium's new custom-made press box Thursday.

The new press box was built in Kentucky and will bring upgrades like more space, heating, cooling and more windows.

The project aims to improve sports fans' experience.

"They're still doing a lot of the bleacher work," said Clint Graham, the Hannibal School District activities director. "There's still a section that they need to put in place, they had to wait until the crane was here. Still doing a lot of concrete work, they're working on some stairs now. We'll start working on ticket booths, they're finishing up the new concession and restrooms, so there's still a lot of things in the works right now."

The project is expected to be completed by the time football practices start on Aug. 11.
