Local football club gets a surprise visit from "Luke The Nuke"

THOSE taking in some midweek football at Thornton Road on Tuesday were perhaps not expecting Warrington's biggest sporting star to turn up.

However, that's exactly what happened when Eagle Sports were visited by our very own world darts champion Luke Littler.

Fresh from his World Series double Down Under having scooped both the Australian and New Zealand Darts Masters titles this month, "The Nuke" is back on home soil and took in a pre-season game between Eagle's Development side and Bruche Athletic.

And there was plenty of entertainment on show too, with the match finishing 2-2.
