TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian national team player Ivar Jenner has officially been promoted to the senior squad of Dutch club FC Utrecht for the 2025/2026 season. He earned the promotion after previously playing for the club's youth team.

According to a statement on FC Utrecht's official website published on Thursday, July 17, 2025, Jenner is listed as one of the players in the senior team for the upcoming season and has taken part in the official photoshoot with the first team. This promotion gives the midfielder, born on January 10, 2004, the opportunity to compete at the highest level of Dutch football, including in the Eredivisie and the KNVB Cup.

By joining the senior team, Jenner is also expected to have the chance to play in European competitions. FC Utrecht is set to take part in the second qualifying round of the 2025-2026 UEFA Europa League.

This marks a major milestone in Jenner's career as a professional footballer, having developed through FC Utrecht's youth ranks in previous seasons.

Jenner began his football journey with the junior team of Ajax Amsterdam. He transferred to FC Utrecht's youth academy in the summer of 2016 at the age of 15.

Since then, the central midfielder has steadily progressed through the club's youth levels. In the 2024/2025 season, he played for Jong Utrecht (U-21), FC Utrecht's reserve team.

Last season, Jenner featured in 26 matches with Jong Utrecht in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football. He accumulated a total of 2,141 minutes on the pitch.
