Camp Cadet: Runs until Saturday, Aug. 16, 33 Camp Road, Douglassville. Police oriented summer camp for boys and girls from 12 to 15. Camp activities are supervised by a counseling staff of state, local law enforcement and current and retired military. Candidates must reside in Berks, Lebanon and Schuylkill counties. Cadets will see presentations including K9, aviation, PSP mounted unit, bomb squad and many more. Cadets participate in marksmanship, scuba diving, horseback riding, drill and physical training.

Schuylkill Haven Football Reserved Seats: Sold from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12 in the gymnasium lobby of Schuylkill Haven Area School District and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily beginning Monday, Aug. 18 in the high school office. Reserved seat ticket holders must contact the high school if they wish to keep their seat for the 2025 high school football season. Cost for five home games for sports pass holders is $7; non sports pass holders, $27; employee pass, $7; senior citizens age 62 and over and gold pass holders, $5. Reserved seat price does not include admission to postseason games.

Schuylkill Haven Sports Passes: Schuylkill Haven Area School District is sellings ports passes for the 2025-2026 school year. Passes are for admission to all athletic, musical and drama events. Passes will be sold from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12 in the gymnasium lobby and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily beginning Monday, Aug. 18 in the high school office. Family pass, $120 for husband, wife, children; fall/winter pass for adults, $60, students, $25; fall pass for adults, $35, students, $15; winter pass for adults, $25, students, $15; gold pass is free for all residents age 62 and over.
