While there are quite a few different categories and types of weapons in Dune: Awakening, some of the rarest items you can find are the unique weapons crafted from schematics found in rare containers around Arrakis. As you explore the vast open desert and continue to upgrade your gear, keep an eye out for these unique schematics and take advantage of their powerful stats. Progressing farther into the deep desert, you're likely to start to find more and more rare containers and finally gain access to unique weapon schematics as well.

Unique weapons fill some of the gaps between different primary weapon categories, offering options such as automatic pistols with the Way of the Wanderer. However, these can also have distinct weapon effects, such as automatically siphoning blood when slashing a target with the Kaleff's Drinker short blade. Overall, these unique weapons are well worth crafting if you manage to track down their schematics, as they'll give you a proper advantage during your journey across Arrakis in search of the Sleeper.

Each Unique Weapon Can Be Crafted From A Rare Schematic

Dune: Awakening's Beta gave us a look at some of the initial unique weapons we will see in the full game, but there are quite a few more available in the base game once players start to venture into the deep desert. Unique weapons are extremely valuable and useful, and their effects can be a game-changer if utilized properly. With a massive arsenal of primary weapons to choose from, you might even be overwhelmed by the number of options.

When Aren was ousted by the Kirab, he brought some of their technology with him into the Southern basin. This unique battle rifle is based on a similar Kirab model. Aren's intention was to eventually lead an army of scavengers north to take vengeance on his old comrades.

Scipio the warlord liked to draw blood from his enemies during torture. He created this Unique kindjal based on one he had stolen in the Southern Hagga Basin. Made of more advanced materials, this kindjal works on the same principle - small grooves feed blood into the hilt which can be emptied into a waiting container.

Unlock Unique Weapon Schematics In Rare Containers Around Arrakis

Unique weapons are crafted the same as any other item in Dune: Awakening, but unlike other weapons in the game, their associated schematics are found in rare containers around Arrakis. They will require a bit more looking around and exploring than your primary weapon arsenal, and typically have unique materials required compared to other items. Most significantly, each one will require some form of Spice-infused Dust, which can typically be found in Shipwrecks and labs.

Overall, finding unique weapons is a great way to give yourself an upper hand, though finding the schematics and materials needed for them will be a bit more of a challenge than the primary weapons you'll craft. Unique weapons have special abilities thanks to the Spice infused during crafting, and they are well worth tracking down rare containers whenever possible. Unique weapons will be a difference-maker throughout your entire journey across Arrakis in search of the Sleeper, and having them available in the right situations could save your life in Dune: Awakening.
