At a glance, some countries definitely did not benefit from the draw while others did.

The draw can pair countries up with any country, aside from the top four seeds that are separated in the standard way seeding works for a bracket.

The match format now shifts to first to eight legs for the round of 16 through the semifinals, so upsets are harder to pull off.

England, who are high pre-tournament favorites, have to face a talented German team on away soil.

Even with Luke Littler and Luke Humphries as a duo, playing Germany in front of a crowd, that will likely be packed and screaming their heads off for Martin Schindler and Ricardo Pietreczko, will not be easy.

Scotland also got a tough draw, having to face a the duo of Danny Noppert and Gian van Veen from the Netherlands, who have been very impressive in their two games so far.

The Philippines is one of the many Asian nations to pull off shocking upsets and advance to the knockout stage.

Don't sleep on them when it comes to upsetting Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton.

The bottom half of the draw favors them going to the semifinal if they can get by Wales.

If England can get by the Germans, they'll likely have to face an elite pair of Aussies in Damon Heta and Simon Whitlock, who are talented and far more experienced on the World Cup of Darts stage than the Lukes.

Things can get really interesting in the final two days, so don't think one nation will run away with this tournamnet.
