Norman North's Miguel Madrigal is the 2025 Gatorade Oklahoma Boys Soccer Player of the Year, the company announced Thursday.
A 6-foot-2, 185-pound senior forward, Madrigal helped Norman North win the Class 6A state title last month.
He finished with 21 goals and five assists and was named The Oklahoman's All-City Player of the Year.
Madrigal won the championship at Rogers State in Claremore, his future college, as the Timberwolves pulled off an incredible comeback in the finals.
Norman North trailed 3-0 against Broken Arrow before scoring three unanswered goals, sending it into overtime and then beating Broken Arrow in a penalty kick shootout, 5-4.
"Miguel was one of those players who you may not notice for 70 minutes and then they have that one moment of brilliance, like all great goal-scorers," Norman coach Gordon Drummond said in a release. "I can't see Norman North High School [winning] the state title without Miguel."

His offer list now also includes Arkansas, Arkansas State, Kansas State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas-San Antonio and Tulsa.
